Lady In Red

Heyy guys! I hope you all enjoyed your Christmas. I know I did. I was too full up to even lift a finger. I went out over the weekend for a friend of mine's birthday. I decided to keep my ensemble pretty simple but still chic, by pairing my shirt with a leather mini skirt. I think it works pretty well with the shirt if I must say so myself. I like the contrast with the smart, sophisticated shirt and then the edginess of the leather skirt.

Let the Festivities begin

So whilst I was on polyvore, just creating sets as one would do I thought why not get into the Christmas spirit and create some festive looks that I would love wear - if my purse permitted me to! Come to think about it I actually don't get all dressed up for Christmas. Weird. As I remember I used to before when I was younger which was actually annoying considering the fact that by the end of dinner I would always spot one gravy stain on my clothes grr. But nowadays I don't make as much of an effort. Well, don't get me wrong I don't sit at the table wearing the trampiest of clothes haha I just usually opt for something casual - a nice shirt, cute pair of jeans you know the deal. Well anyway this post is for if I did actually dress up and what I would wear (and it's also just a bit of inspiration for anyone stuck on what to wear for Christmas day!)

Outfit 1 - I would say this outfit is pretty laid back but there's a sense of chicness to it. This is something I would suggest to anyone who doesn't want to get too dress up - but definitely wants to look cute in those Christmas family photos. You know the ones where you have to fake a smile because your mums forcing you to be in the picture when really all you want to do is lie on your bed because of how slumped you are after that incredible meal!
Outfit 2 - This outfit is kinda of Christmasy, but with a grungy twist. I would also say it's for anyone who's daring enough to show some leg this Christmas! Can we please just take a moment for this holographic clutch - from PRIMARK! Yes I said it - Primark. I am definitelyyyy going to be running to Primark as soon as the chance!
Outfit 3 - I've always loved co-ordinates, I'm a sucker for them. There's just something about head to toe print that just excites me! A very bold and playful look for this Christmas - definitely something that will make you stand out in those family photos. And if looking like wallpaper isn't your thing you could always go for less colorful co-ord maybe an all white number with a pop of colour and gold accessories.

If you're on polyvore be sure to follow me here!

CheckMate

Heyy guys! So this past week has been pretty hectic (as usual) which is why I haven't had the chance to upload this outfit post which is from two weeks ago *cries*! Anyway, I got these monochrome trousers from Asos and I must admit the minute I got them I couldn't wait to wear them! I lovee them, I had been looking for a pair of patterned trousers for this winter, something to jazz up my outfit and stop me from being all 'blacked out' (even though I'm kinda wearing alot of black ha).

Neon Pop

For winter I love wearing jumpers and sweaters of all colours, patterns, textures you name it. When I saw this jumper on eBay I just had to get it. The bright neon colour means that whenever it gets dark you will definitely be able to spot me from the crowd ha. I opted for my high waisted mom jeans (although you can't see the high waisted in these photos) as an alternative rather than wearing my skinny jeans.

Inspiration

As we are now in the season of winter, I thought it was only right to share with you all some images that I've come across that are giving me abit of inspiration for my wardrobe this season.

Thursday Blues

Isit just me or is there something a bit offish about the weather these past few days. From the storm on Monday to the on and off rain we've been getting, I haven't exactly been the biggest fan of the British weather and it is for that reason that I am glad I have a collection of hats! With my outfit today I decided to keep it pretty laid-back.

Feeling Divaish

Last weekend I had the time of my life lol, as it was my friend's birthday I went to visit her and also help her celebrate the big 2-0! I wore this outfit to dinner at Wagamama's, and I am absolutely in love with it if I must say so myself *embarrassed face* The minute I bought this floppy hat I just couldn't wait to wear it - whether that meant I had to wear it even if the sun was shining I couldn't give a damn, I just had to wear it and ASAP. So for the lovely dinner I decided to perhaps go a bit hollywood chic with my oversized hat! I really am in love with this hat guys I just can't stop going on about it haha. Ok let me shut my mouth now and just show you all my outfit.
